Yantra India Limited (YIL) has released official notification for for engagement of Trade Apprentices (Ex-ITI & Non-ITI candidates) for the 59th Batch. A total of 3979 vacancies including 2843 Ex-ITI and 1136 Non-ITI has advrtised in this notifaication. The online application process will begin from first week of February 2026, and last date will be on first week of March, 2026. Yantra India Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Should have passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) as on closing date of the online application and possess minimum 50% marks as per criteria of the concerned Board (as per the original Marksheet) and with minimum 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.

Age Limit

• Minimum age for an apprentice is 14 years and 18 years for designated trades related to hazardous industries, as per section 3(a) of the Apprentice Act, 1961, amendments thereof, and as per clause number 3 of the National Apprentice Promotion Scheme-2 (NAPS-2) issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship vide MSDE-5/01/2022-AP dated 25-08-2023, the upper age limit for all categories shall be 35 years.

YIL Selection Process

Selection will be on the basis of merit and choice of Ordnance Factory submitted by the candidate. The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories. The merit list for NON-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent).
